I want to share with you what's happening with this blog, I am blogging more often and I have a lot of blog post all ready for you, but I noticed that something funny [for lack of a better word] is happening. Traffic and emails from sponsors are growing but the more drawings and less photos I post, the more readers are walking away, which is strange to me, because traffic is better...anyway.
I will keep posting drawings because I am an artist, and drawing [and coffee] is what keeps me sane, some will not like them and that is OK.
I will also write more and post a lot of photos, I know you like self portraits for some reasons...and I will bring back the outfits and what's in my back posts. I have some fashion and home decor DIY projects that I know you'll like, so stay tune mah dears.
There's very few people that like the art and personal posts. I've found that people just want to see pictures and to comment the same compliment over. Not so much reading and taking part in that.
ReplyDeleteI love your drawings! I usually don't like to comment on art posts since I tend to say the same things. When I like something, I'll tell that person ... but over and over? Not sure if they would want that haha
Finally getting caught up with your blog so I'm making my way through the archives at the moment. Also super excited to have some extra money for a bunch of your commissions soon!!
ReplyDeleteOh Gods, yes!!! PLEASE continue posting your art. I love your posts so much. Whether they are about you, your hobbies, your creative habits; your kitty, your art, your style. They all rock. I'm sorry you're losing some traffic when you post your art, but from one artist to another I can assure you I'll be sticking around!
