Indie business. What to do after you have been featured

We all love that woot! feeling we get when we are contacted to let us know (or found out by ourselves) our blog or Etsy shop has been featured...YAY, right!

Now, what should we do after this has happened?
1. If you were contacted to let you know, the polite thing to do is say thank you, you can reply to the convo/email or go to the website/blog to say thanks.
-Why? not because the person that featured you wants it but, because being nice and polite goes a long way, and that blogger may consider featuring your business again!
2.Now that you saw the feature, and you're all happy, inspired and excited, the next step is to spread the word!
You can share the link on Facebook, Tweet about it, if you have a "press" or "been featured on" section on your website or shop, add that link!
Use social media to let your readers and customers know, they will be happy for you and you may receive a few e-hugs!
See? Twin Hearts Vintage is doing it right!
3.Add it to your faves. If you are using Bloglovin', find that blog, and "heart" that blog post that talks about you, you don't have to follow the blog if you don't want to, but if you add it as a FAVE, that blog post will get more views and therefore your business will too.

4.Save a screen shot of the blog post/article:
PC: press the PrtScn key
Apple: apple key ⌘ + Shift + 3

This is a nice way of keeping track of all the websites that have talked about your business, remember to save the image as well as the link, you can print it and create a personal file, you can create a section on your blog or website so your customers can see it...be creative!

So there you go, these are four very simple things that, believe me, will help your indie business!
